3 Summer schools for 2020 !

Liryc will propose this year two new schools this summer.

The first edition of the Congenital Heart Disease and Percutaneous Interventions Summer School will take place at the IHU Liryc from June 8th to 11th, 2020.


This 30-seat program is dedicated to international science and medical students, phd students, engineers and experienced researchers wishing to improve their background knowledge on congenital heart disease fundamentals, thanks to intensive courses combining theoretical and practical sessions.

The first edition of the Gadgetron Summer School  will also takes place at the IHU Liryc from June 17th to 19th, 2020.


This 52-seat program is open to international students, engineers and experienced researchers wishing to improve understand the basics of the Gadgetron framework and the latest Gadgetron functionalities. Gadgetron is an open-source magnetic resonance image reconstruction framework providing state of-the-art image processing tools and algorithms. This summer school consists of theoretical sessions and practical sessions of coding and MRI scanning.

Finally, the second edition of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Summer School will take place at IHU Liryc from June 28th to July 3rd, 2020.


This training week is dedicated to international science and medical students, phd students, engineers and experienced researchers wishing to improve their background knowledge on cardiac electrophysiology. Sessions will be led by world-leading experts and recognized clinicians and researchers.

These courses are eligible for the compulsory complementary doctoral training program.


Foreign participants can claim this training from their university through a certificate of attendance which will be given to them at the end of the training.

  Value of the training week: 12 hours (doctoral school – Mathematics and Computer Science college), 15 hours (doctoral school – Physical and Engineering Sciences college), maximum of 20 hours (doctoral school – Life Sciences and Health college)

  Foreign participants can claim this training from their university thanks to a certificate of attendance that will be given to them at the end of the training.
