The first edition of the Rythme ACTIF 2023 congress will take place on June 15 and 16, 2023 in Nice, in the form of simulation workshops dedicated to the training and improvement of young rhythmologists. All areas of rhythmology will be covered: conventional and leadless cardiac pacing, various resynchronization options, cardiac defibrillation, lead extraction, various atrial and ventricular ablation techniques and energies, left atrial occlusion. Rythme ACTIF aims to share and teach from difficulties and/or complications encountered in “real life”, in front of the patient.

Interventional rhythmology is evolving at a prodigious rate. For this specialty to be practiced properly, it is necessary to have the theoretical basis and then to master the precise procedure. The sharing of experiences, best practices and advice within the rhythmology community is essential to continue to improve our knowledge and discover the innovations of tomorrow. Rythme ACTIF, in its first edition, takes the format of ACTIF (Atelier Complications en Cardiologie Interventionnelle Francophone) – whose 3rd edition was a great success in 2022 – and adapts it to interventional rhythmology.

The different themes will be presented in an original form of companionship. The objective of Rythme ACTIF is to share and teach based on difficulties and/or complications encountered in “real life”, in front of the patient. After targeted communications concerning the essential practical bases for each theme and discussions around clinical cases, dedicated times around numerous simulators will allow to put them into practice. The discussions, exchanges and tips from each participant will undoubtedly make this meeting a rich moment of medical and human knowledge.
